Missions: April: LCMS Ministry to Armed Forces LCMS pastors have served as military chaplains since the Civil War. Today there are 214 chaplains receiving LCMS support. The LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces supports the courageous men and women who guard our freedom by helping these chaplains.
