Through Baptism all believers are members a royal priesthood. They are made holy through forgiveness of sin for Jesus sake. God’s Priests speak, pray and sacrifice. Each day believers lay their joys and sorrows before God and receive from God good things. They also bring before God those who are in need of healing, forgiveness, and peace. Each day Christians around the world pray the prayer that Jesus taught, often called “The Our Father”
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
